Safety remains at the heart of all our operations and we are committed to an incident-free workplace, everyday, no matter the location. We continue to minimize the impact the effects of our activities on the environment.
Safety is one of our core values that reinforce our culture of safe behavior. Effective safety, health and environmental leadership are essential in all of our actions. Inter Supply Network requires an active commitment to HSEQ from all our employees and contractors in all work activities. Line managers are responsible and completely accountable for ensuring compliance with all HSEQ policies and procedures, as well as this Corporate HSEQ Policy.
We will always communicate openly in regard to HSEQ issues with our stakeholders, as well as share our experience and knowledge of successful HSEQ initiatives.
Policy implementation
Inter Supply Network has an HSEQ Committee which oversees all HSEQ matters. This Committee is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer and institutes procedures and guiding principles as it deems necessary to carry out the Company HSEQ policy.
The Company maintains assessment, self-evaluation and audit programs to monitor the Company's compliance with this Policy. A Compliance audit report is presented to the Inter Supply Network S.A. Board of Directors at least once a year.
Compliance with relevant legislation
The Company standards will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which we operate.
Risk Management
The Company will strive to mitigate the impact of any foreseeable hazards, which may endanger health, safety and the environment, or could affect the quality of products and services it provides. This will be achieved through formal risk assessments as required through Company Policies and Procedures.
Training
The Company is committed to provide training and developmental needs as appropriate for each individual's duties and responsibilities - this will always include HSEQ training. Line managers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate training is provided and individual competency evaluations are conducted as per the Company's standards.
Our procedures are examined by independent authorities on a regular basis, both onshore and offshore. Inter Supply Network is honored to have received the following certificates:
International Safety Management code ISM code.
For this code, Inter Supply Network provides standards for the safe management and operation of their fleet, comprising but not limited to:
1 prevention of human injury or loss of life;
2 prevention of pollution of the environment.
ISO 9001-2008 Quality Certificate.
For this standard, Inter Supply Network provides standards for quality applicable for the services of all vessels, including offshore installation and the supporting office. The vessels as well as the office organization are certified by Lloyds since July 6th 2001 and are regularly examined for compliance with the ISO 9001-2008 code.
ISPS code International Ship and Port facility Security Code.
For this code, Inter Supply Network provides an approved Ship Security Plan for each vessel with standards for awareness, prevention and response with regard to ship's security threats and incidents at harbours and their estuaries. The vessels are certified by the Recognized Security Organization Lloyds.
OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety management systems.
For this code Inter Supply Network provides a comprehensive program for Occupational Health and Safety management. The vessels and office are certified by Lloyds since 19 January 2009 and are regularly examined for compliance of the OHSAS 18001:2007
